Blakes 2nd Birthday!

Blake had an AWESOME 2nd Birthday party at Pump It Up! He jumped until he could barely jump anymore. I really think that everyone who joined us had an amazing time! We did a train theme party and Blake had 2 cakes and 4 dozen cupcakes! And of course he got way more toys, money and gift cards than anyone should ever get!

Blake turns 2!

On May 14, 2010 Blake officially turned 2!!!! Time is flying by and our little baby is so big and independant now!!! For his 'real' birthday we celebrated by going to Chuck E Cheese (his big birthday party was planned for the next day)!! Grandma and Grandpa Martin joined us and Mimi and G-Diddy Smith too! We also gave him our presents from us because we figured he would be overwhelmed at his birthday party on Saturday. We had an Elmo cake that Blake picked out for our mini party and it was gooood! Mommy and Daddy got him a really awesome tricycle! I had been so excited to give it to him and when we finally did he couldn't even reach the pedals!!! He loved it anyway though and plays with it almost everyday! We also got him a guitar for his first gift of the day and Romeo was a little confused because he thought it was his Birthday already!!! Blake finished up his big day by going to Mimi and G-Diddy's hotel to swim in the pool with daddy!!! Happy Birthday B!!!

Momma's Day and a Baseball game!

This weekend was Mother's Day! I had a great day w/ my boys! We went to Ijams nature center and went for a little hike. Blake had to "walk" Romeo of course! Then they took me shopping and out for a nice dinner. It was really awesome! Saturday night we went to a baseball game with Heidi, Sean and Jake and Blake LOVES baseball games! He even ate his 1st hotdog there!

Go Burchett!

My good long time friend Allison is married to Tim Burchett who is our current state senator. Tim is running for Knox County Mayor in the fall and last week he won the Republican primary by a land slide and we were fortuate enough to be there for the victory! Blake is a little politician in the making and enjoyed 'fist bumping' all the big wheels!

Day Out with Thomas!

We went to Chattanooga to see Thomas the Train and it was AWESOME! We made a weekend of it and went the day before the event and got a hotel. We even took Romeo, who, like Blake, loves staying at a hotel! Thomas was so neat and Blake really enjoyed riding on the train and all the cool stuff there. It was a really cool event and they had lots to do besides just the Thomas train ride. There was a petting zoo, and storytelling, bubbles, and a bounce house...just to name a few!! It was definately money well spent! On Sunday we went to Rock City and that was really neat too. I loved that it was something fun for everyone and we could even take Ro!
